Occasionally, we get questions about this. Two of the most common ones are:
"Why do you ask for only $5?"
Naturally, the huge majority of our members are police officers. Many are trying to pay the rent and feed their families on a relatively small salary, in addition to paying dues to police unions, benevolence associations, etc. We don't want FCPO membership to be a financial burden to anyone, and almost everyone can afford $5 per month.
The other question we get is, "Why $5? Why isn't membership free?"
The answer is that FCPO provides new members with a number of materials and resources, including a One Year Bible, several books, completely free access to RightNow Media, and several other items. Obviously, the national ministry bears the expense of purchasing these resources. Your monthly gift of $5 helps keep the ministry cycle going, helping provide these discipleship resources to the next member, and the next, and so on. When you join FCPO, you truly are an active partner in reaching the U.S. law enforcement community for Christ!
There is strength in numbers, and if everyone gives a little, it can make a big impact for the Kingdom of God. If you're not already a member, would you prayerfully consider joining FCPO?
Let's partner together and make a difference for Christ in the U.S. law enforcement community!
