We recently received an update from Mike Battisti, Chairman of the newly reactivated High Desert Chapter (#15) in San Bernadino County, California. They are moving forward in a big way in reaching out to law enforcement officers in their area:
"I wanted to share some news with glory to God that we had our first outreach opportunity.
"On February 12th, some of our brothers from our chapter barbecued and served over 45 law enforcement officers who were participating in a proactive enforcement sweep in the unincorporated areas of Lucerne Valley and Apple Valley. It was a blessed time. Our chapter business cards were handed out and we represented FCPO well with chapter shirts and our new table cover/banner!"
Looks and sounds like everybody from Chapter 15 had a great time serving the Lord and their fellow law enforcement officers!
What's going on in your chapter? Have you recently had a community outreach or service project? Do you have an event coming up? We want to hear about it! Send details and photos to [email protected]. Let your chapter's activities encourage and challenge other chapters across the nation!
