Ministering to Peace Officers

The men and women in law enforcement are a tight-knit group, and the challenges they face are seldom understood by those outside the system. Many see more tragedy, sorrow, and human destruction in a week than most people will see in a lifetime. Low pay, high stress, long hours, and media scrutiny are just a few of the other challenges facing officers and their families.

The Life of a Cop in the Real World.

The Statistics are Staggering.

- 75% have been divorced.

- Every 17 hours, a cop commits suicide.

- almost 25% have alcohol abuse issues.

True peace, relief from stress, protection from harm, and provision for other unique needs only comes through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

FCPO challenges Christian men and women from all areas of the law enforcement community to use the powerful medium of their jobs and the fellowship that the brotherhood of police work provides to reach their fellow officers for Jesus Christ. Then, through discipleship, they are taught how to integrate Christ and Christian principles into their work, daily life, and relationships.

FCPO provides law enforcement Bible study tools, marriage retreat opportunities, and personal financial fitness training along with leadership, evangelism training, and discipleship training.

The law enforcement community can be a dark place. Through local chapters across the United States, FCPO is touching the lives of thousands of police officers, sheriff's deputies, state troopers, correctional officers, special agents, and support personnel....one heart at a time. Please help us continue to share the Light of the Gospel with them.
